Katlu is traditional food prepared to supplement the nutritional needs of women during the postnatal period and induce lactation. Heat ghee in a kadhai and add the coarse wheat flour and roast it till becomes golden brown. Now add Double Hathi Katlu powder, gundar (fried edible gum) and shredded jeggery and stir well. Now grease a plate with ghee and empty kadhai in it flatten it and top it with chopped almonds and cashew nuts. Let it set for 1 hour at room temperature then cut it into pieces and Katlu Pak is ready.
